I develop strategies for educational systems and their digital transformation. My academic career spans over 20 years of research in cybernetics in education, university rankings, and data analytics. Throughout my work, I have published numerous studies on the international analysis of educational systems and their impact on human capital development.
I founded the PostData project, aimed at exploring the educational landscape. This initiative supports researchers, administrators, and teachers in making data-driven decisions. I have been involved in organizing and digitalizing the educational process at the UNESCO Chair in Global Education, and have participated in international projects focused on analyzing higher education systems. One of my notable achievements is creating the “Atlas of Educational Spaces Worldwide,” presented at the UNESCO World Higher Education Conference in 2022.
After graduating with honors in “Automation of Technological Processes” from the Moscow State Industrial University, I continued my education, defending my master’s thesis in Cybernetics at the International Academy of Sciences in San Marino. My postgraduate research under Professor H.G. Frank laid the foundation for my future scientific career. I earned my Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences degree in 2011, developing a system to leverage formal accreditation procedures to improve educational quality.
From 2009 to 2012, I studied at Moscow Polytechnic University, where I earned a Master’s in Management and wrote a thesis on “Developing Measures to Enhance the Quality and Competitiveness of Educational Services.” This research allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of the economic and managerial aspects of educational institutions.
Between 2012 and 2018, I earned my Doctor of Science degree in Education at the Institute of Educational Development Strategy of the Russian Academy of Education, defending a dissertation on “Methodology for Applying Rankings to Study the Educational Space.” My work focuses on how rankings can serve as a tool for analyzing and improving the quality of education, a foundational aspect of the modern educational context.
Throughout my career, I have held various research and managerial positions in institutions like the Institute for Strategy of Educational Development and the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI, where I supervised research, international projects, and modernization of educational systems. My work emphasizes cybernetics in education, data, and the development of scientific rankings aimed at advancing universities.
My international collaborations include internships in universities in Germany, Italy, and Romania, as well as active scientific engagement, with over 40 publications, some of which are indexed in WoS and Scopus. I am also deeply involved in programming and data analysis, allowing me to develop new methodologies and approaches for analyzing educational systems. My skills in Python, SQL, and BI tools like Power BI enable me to create analytical reports and visualize data, aiding in a better understanding of educational processes.
I am proficient in English, German, and Esperanto.
